Income requirements for admission to SLHA’s housing programs.
The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) sets income limits that determine eligibility for assisted housing programs including Public Housing and Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) programs. Eligibility is established by comparing a family’s annual income with HUD’s published income limits which are based on estimates of median family income in a particular area or county, with adjustments for family size.
